Post-Test Procedures

Upon completion of the written test, there are several expectations and outcomes you should be aware of.

What to Expect After the Written Test

Following the DKT, you will receive your test results immediately. If you pass, you’ll be well on your way to receiving your P1 licence. Should you not pass, you can book another test, but it’s important to use the feedback provided to strengthen your knowledge in identified areas of weakness.

Next Steps in the Licensing Process

For successful candidates, the next steps in the licensing process involve paying the necessary fees, undergoing an eyesight test, and having your photo taken for the new license. Applying for a learner driver practice guide under the Road ready program is also wise.
